Tess Carr

Tess is thrilled to bring her passion and experience in musical theater to the classroom. With a background both onstage and behind the scenes, she has performed nationally and locally in productions such as Cabaret (as Sally), Beatlejuice, Mary Poppins and more. She has also held roles as assistant choreographer and dance captain for shows like Hairspray, Music Man, Cabaret, and Ferris Bueller The Musical. As a musical theater teacher, Tess loves guiding students through the joys of singing, dancing, and acting, helping them find their confidence and unique voice on stage. Outside the theater, she works as a software project manager, keeping engineers on track, but her heart always returns to the world of musical theater.
