Jaelyn Silvey

Jaelyn Silvey began her theater making journey at Verge as an elementary student and has been hooked ever since! She grew up performing in the Teen Theater program before moving on to perform on Verge’s Mainstage and diving into the world of directing and production management. Jaelyn continues to pour love and energy into theatre because she believes passionately in the beauty that comes from collaboration, the relationships forged, and the stories to be explored intimately. Anytime she directs, she strives to create an environment of compassion, acceptance, and, of course, lots of laughter. Favorite past theatrical endeavors onstage include She Kills Monsters (Vera), Once Upon a Mattress (Princess Fred), Peter/Wendy (Wendy), The Revolutionists (Charlotte Corday), and, Middletown (Female Tourist/Woman on Date). Offstage, she fondly thinks about Into the Woods (Director), The Prom (Director), The Mousetrap (Director), F*cking A (Director), and Puffs (Director). If you ever find her outside of the theater, she’s likely searching for delicious french fries, dancing with her friends, spending time with her incredible partner, and dreaming of traveling.
